Argyle's "Back Stage Pass" Tour & Tasting
When visiting us, enlighten your palate with a variety of world class Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Sparkling wines. While enjoying your tour you will have the opportunity to witness hand disgorging, and learn about our history and see how sparkling wine is made. Educational and fun, we offer a light hearted exploration of our winery, grape growing regions, the winemaking process and our distinctive wines.
Argyle has been handcrafting fine wines since 1987. Argyle winery produces the highest rated sparkling wine outside of Champagne, France and is known for crafting vintage-dated sparkling wines with rich, creamy texture. The Willamette Valley is one of the best places to make sparkling wine due to its cool climate and ideal growing conditions for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir Grapes. Argyle is the only winery to have earned recognition in Wine Spectator's "Top 100 Wines of the World" in three wine categories - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sparkling.
Tours will be hosted in our wine cellar that was a former hazelnut processing facility, and are available Saturday and Sunday at 11:00am, 1:00pm, and 3:00pm. Tours are limited to 12 participants and must be 21 years of age or older.
Please plan on spending 1 hour for Tour & Tasting. Advance Reservations are required.
